這已經是第二次有人寫信給瀝源邨的樹木了。 This is not the first time we got letters written to trees at Lek Yuen Estate in Shatin! 一面看才發現其中一棵咁outstanding的樹木。連討論區上也有人問這棵樓高十二層的是什麼樹，有人答是聖誕樹，也有人答一定是這棵樹所以瀝源邨才地靈人傑，風水好。 其實應該是南洋杉木，香港四處也有。你們可以數 一數，真的有十 二層高。 另外翻看當年屋邨初落成時，還未有樹木的，好厲害，是真正的滄海桑田。Never short of surprises, 水池也好美。謝謝 Zoe 的信，讓我們看到她那一角香港的美。 On a second glance, we realise there's this very tall tree, such a beautiful scenary, and was even being discussed on online forums before. Some commented there that this is a Christmas tree, and others said that it's thanks to a tree like this the estate has very good feng shui. In fact it should be a type of Pine tree, that's commonly seen around Hong Kong. If you count the tree's height against the building at the back, he is really 12 stories tall!! We looked back at the old pictures from 1970s when the estate was first completed, back then there were no trees!
